In 1999 I won Champion Loft with 3 1st place wins comming from straight bred Robert Hall DeVriendts. Hall's DeVriendts came to him from Raymond Tonai who got his DeVriendts straight from the Galaxy Lofts of California. This was the start of my first real "family" of birds, the DeVriendts. The family of birds that Campbell Strange called his "Best Long Distance Family of Pigeons". The most famous DeVriendt "LODI" was from two Campbell Strange birds that were down from the Galaxy Loft birds!!! Over the years I have added DeVriendts from Campbell Strange, Charlie Lee, Charles Jasper, Larry John all super flyers winning with DeVriendts. In 2014 I bred 4 excellent straight DeVriendts that all went to Miguel Hortado of Houston, Texas. He was 2nd CHAMPION YOUNG BIRD LOFT, and one of my DeVriendts that he flew finished #14 in the National Ace Young Bird ranks for the state of TEXAS, and that means beating 100's of birds every weekend. Great job Miguel.

In 2006 I was lucky to purchase a straight bred BLACK HOUBEN hen by Ron Johnson of California. This hen, 2005 JEDDS 9237 Black daughter of 97 CLAUSING 390 Black Cock and sire to 3 1st place winners and is Grand dam to over 15 first place winners for me. Black Raven as I have named her is excellent in the hand with a awesome Yellow eye. Her best son, 2007 A 2213 Black C named "Black Bart" a 1st place winner at 230 miles and is sire to 6 first place winners and Grand sire to 1 Young Bird Champion for Jef Lewis in Georgia. I also have an excellent son of Black Bart who I have named Black Knight or 08 AKA 308 Black C, who is sire to 3 1st place winners. I am also very lucky to have Black Berry a full sister to Black Raven my foundation hen. These are the best family of birds in the world, just ask David Clausing the man who has won more money than any other person in the South African Million Dollar Races.
